I have been coaching kids football since November 2006, when I did my FA Level 1 coaching badge.

I passed my FA Level 1 Coaching Badge in November 2006, and my FA Goalkeeping Level 1 in October 2008.  In Aug 2008 I took the F.A. Age Appropriate Coaching – IntroductoryModule for teaching kids from age 5 to 11. I have been a member of the FA Coaches Association for over 2 years.

The new concept form the FA is to develop the skills of younger children during their most creative time of their lives. At age 11 Children reach their creative peak, so by encouraging them to be creative during training sessions we can enhance their natural abilty to produce the stars of the future who will have style and flare in their game.
